Raspberry Pi CM4 DAQ for Real-Time Poly-Phase Power Monitoring

Raspberry Pi CM4 DAQ for Real-Time Poly-Phase Power Monitoring

Designed in early 2023, this board combines Raspberry CM4 with STM32H753 microcontroller to manage real-time ADC data processing. For monitoring all 3-phase voltage and currents simultaneously, we used 8-channel, 24-Bit, simultaneous sampling ADC.

Key Features

  • Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 placeholder
  • 1 x HDMI (HDMI 2.0 port up to 4Kp60 supported)
  • 1 x USB 2.0 OTG in Type-C connector
  • 1 x Co-processing STM32H7 (ST Micro STM32H743, 32-bit Arm Cortex-M7 480MHz MCU)
  • 1 x 8-ch Simultaneous Sampling ADC (Analog Devices AD7768, 8-/4-Channel, 24-Bit, Simultaneous Sampling ADCs with Power Scaling, 110.8 kHz)
  • 4 x 2-ch differenctal analog isolator (Analog Devices ADN4650, 5 kV RMS/3.75 kV RMS, 600 Mbps, Dual-Channel LVDS Isolators)
